How to Update a Hero Image in Drupal
Hero images are large banner images often used at the top of a page to make a strong visual impact. Here's how to update the hero image on a page.
Prerequisites
Make sure you have:

Permission to edit content

Access to the content type or layout that includes the hero image
Steps to Update the Hero Image

Log in to your Drupal admin dashboard.

Go to Content > Content (admin/content).

Find the page you want to edit and click Edit.

Scroll down to the Hero Image or Image field.

Click Remove to delete the current image (if necessary).

Click Choose File or Browse to upload a new image.

Add Alt text for accessibility.

Locate the Hero Title field and add a title over the image if desired.

Click Save at the bottom of the page.
Tips

Use high-resolution images (typically 1600px wide or more).

Keep image file sizes optimized for faster page load.

Images without text typically render better on mobile devices and all screen sizes.

Use descriptive alt text for accessibility and SEO.
